Day 2

After our six course breakfast we set off at 8.45am to continue our journey. A fine morning, we made good speed and stopped for coffee at Mamers where Jerry decided to try and out do Simon by having a completely unnecessary puncture (see photo!). Not to be outdone by Jerry, Simon developed a slow puncture which eventually needed replacing with a new tube AND tyre. John used the rare Lipton Lotus technique to supervise the repair.

Lunch at Bonnertable in the park.

Meanwhile the fab 4 continued into the headwind while leftfield doc docherty was cycling through genitiel for the meet at grand luce. Or perhaps arrived by another train? Peter
Morning - "Did you hear Simon snoring?" no, he was on the floor above, Yes, but did you hear him?"

Evening - After cleaning up we asked the hotel what we should look at in the town. Answer: nothing! So we found a bar. Had a good meal back in the hotel. End of day. John

Andy here! Finally caught up after a very relaxing time spent with my Father, Alex, Nick, Sophie, Athur and Lilly in the Le Loir. Benefitted from a tail wind today so will probably find it tougher going tomorrow! Andy
